St. Edwards Youth Ministry is committed to the teens of our parish. Realizing the importance of balance with our young people, and the adult faith community which is outlined by the 8 components, Youth Ministry is working to meet the needs of our young people with the following opportunities to grow in faith, and discipleship to encounter Jesus.

“These ministry components describe the “essence” of ministry with adolescents these components provide a framework for the Catholic community to respond to the needs to young people and to involve young people in sharing their unique gifts with the larger community. They provide a structure for the Church’s ministry with adolescents, while encouraging local creativity in developing programs, activities, and strategies for each component. Each ministry component supports and enhances the others. A comprehensive ministry with Adolescents provides balance among all eight components.” Renewing the Vision (pg 26).
Easter Egg Hunt
Summer Camp: Camp Guggenheim in Saranac Lake, NY is a Catholic camp for our young people to grow and share their faith for a week. Camp Guggenheim is located on Lower Saranac Lake in the magnificent ADK Mtns. The camp operates for six weekly sessions from late June through August. Each camp week begins on Sunday and ends on Friday with Liturgy at 1:30p. The cost is only $270.00. Please, if interested contact Sr. Rose by email ymsteds@yahoo.com
